散文诗《大学》
天来小子内观：
大，是体大、相大、用大的大方广，
如天地无尽，容万物于怀，
如日月无私，明万古之道，
体之广大，是无边之静；
相之广大，是无尽之动；
用之广大，是生生不息的和鸣。
学，是阿罗汉之觉的清净，
菩萨之觉的悲愿，
佛陀之觉的圆满，
如登山之行，逐步高远，
每一级台阶皆见真谛，
每一重境界皆通大悟。
大学者，圆融不碍次第，
次第不碍圆融。
圆融，如满月高悬，光辉无漏；
次第，如阶梯而升，步步为实。
在圆融中，知行不二；
于次第间，觉道并举。
天来小子叹曰：
大学者，非学术之小径，乃生命之大道；
非聪慧之独得，乃众生之同归。
若能大体圆融，随处即是道场；
若能次第而行，步步即为觉悟。
大学，
大无止尽，学无止境；
行至至善，便是归处。
The Great Learning
The young seeker contemplates inwardly:
The Great embodies the vastness of essence, form, and function—
the profound expanse of infinite harmony.
Like the boundless heavens embracing all beings,
Like the selfless sun and moon illuminating eternal truth.
The vastness of essence lies in its unbounded stillness;
The vastness of form lies in its infinite motion;
The vastness of function lies in its ceaseless resonance of creation.
The Learning unfolds through the stages of awakening:
The purity of the Arhat’s realization,
The compassionate vow of the Bodhisattva,
The perfection of the Buddha’s enlightenment.
Like ascending a great mountain, step by step,
Each step reveals a deeper truth,
Each vista leads to ultimate awakening.
The Great Learning unites the seamless and the sequential:
The seamless does not hinder progression,
The progression does not obstruct wholeness.
Seamlessness is like the full moon, radiating flawless light.
Progression is like a ladder, ascending steadily and surely.
In seamlessness, knowing and doing are one;
Within progression, awakening and practice rise together.
The young seeker marvels and says:
The Great Learning is not the narrow path of mere knowledge,
But the grand way of life itself.
It is not the privilege of the clever few,
But the shared return of all beings.
To embrace vast harmony is to find the Dao everywhere;
To progress step by step is to awaken with every action.
The Great Learning—
Its greatness lies in infinity; its learning, in eternity.
To walk this path is to find one’s true home.
