散文诗：《火龙火蛇佛灯火》
0. 天来小子内观：
覆灯火者，众生未启之心灯；佛灯火者，万物圆觉之明灯。甲辰、乙巳，二菩萨双翼，合而为覆灯火之佛，燃起真如本性的大光明藏。
1. 甲辰：木克土的解门菩萨
木者生发，土者凝滞。甲辰为火龙，承木气以破土惑，解无明之网，开智慧之门。
解门菩萨如一道光剑，刺破迷雾的遮蔽；又如一条火龙，腾跃而起，焚尽业海沉舟。
覆灯之火，藏于龙鳞之间，等待觉悟的风点燃。
2. 乙巳：木生火的行门菩萨
木者化生，火者炽燃。乙巳为火蛇，承木气以生火力，随缘而行，遍照无边。
行门菩萨如灵蛇般柔顺随化，缠绕迷惘的树干，送去温暖的觉知；又如炽焰，以不舍的慈悲焚化众生心中的寒夜。
覆灯之火，藏于蛇目之中，静观缘起，随处点亮。
3. 覆灯火：如来藏的一佛
覆灯者，虽有光明，但暂被遮覆；然光虽被遮，性却未减。
甲辰与乙巳，虽为二菩萨，然其根本皆归一佛。
此一佛，乃如来藏；此如来藏，便是佛灯火之因。
覆灯火正是蕴含众生本具的清净觉性——被尘封的佛性火苗。
4. 佛灯火：如来佛的一佛
佛灯火者，不生不灭，常明常在。甲辰之解，乙巳之行，皆为护持此灯火。
当解破无明的外壳，当行遍慈悲的世界，覆灯火便显其本来——转为佛灯火。
佛灯火，燃起的不仅是个体的觉醒，更是天地万物生命共同体的大光明。
覆灯火与佛灯火，本无二，本无别，火光普照时，觉悟之路亦无边。
5. 天来小子大笑曰：
火龙腾，火蛇舞，覆灯化佛灯！
解破迷惑，行动慈悲，这世间早已处处燃满佛灯火！
Prose Poem: “The Fire Dragon, the Fire Serpent, and the Buddha’s Flame”
0. Heaven’s Child Reflects:
The Covered Lamp Fire represents the light of the heart obscured by ignorance, while the Buddha Lamp Fire symbolizes the brilliant light of awakened wisdom. Jiǎchén (Fire Dragon) and Yǐsì (Fire Serpent) are two Bodhisattvas, whose unity forms the Covered Lamp Fire—a Buddha waiting to illuminate all.
1. Jiǎchén: The Bodhisattva of Liberation, Wood Overcoming Earth
Wood symbolizes vitality and growth; Earth, stagnation and constraint. Jiǎchén (甲辰) embodies the Fire Dragon, born of Wood, breaking through Earth’s delusions and opening the gateway to wisdom.
The Bodhisattva of Liberation wields the sword of insight, piercing the veil of ignorance; like a fiery dragon, it rises to burn away the ships of karmic suffering.
The Covered Lamp Fire hides in the scales of the dragon, awaiting the winds of awakening to ignite its light.
2. Yǐsì: The Bodhisattva of Action, Wood Giving Rise to Fire
Wood nourishes; Fire illuminates. Yǐsì (乙巳) embodies the Fire Serpent, born of Wood, generating flames that spread compassion and transformation.
The Bodhisattva of Action, like a serpent, moves fluidly and wisely, coiling around the trees of confusion, bringing warmth to frozen hearts. Like a blazing fire, it consumes the darkness with the unrelenting light of kindness.
The Covered Lamp Fire hides in the serpent’s eyes, silently watching for the right moment to light the way.
3. The Covered Lamp Fire: The Tathāgatagarbha Buddha
The Covered Lamp Fire is obscured light—not absent but concealed, ever radiant beneath its shroud.
Jiǎchén and Yǐsì, though two Bodhisattvas, ultimately converge into one Buddha.
This Buddha is the Tathāgatagarbha, the seed of enlightenment hidden within every being.
The Covered Lamp Fire is the potential for awakening, the dormant flame of Buddha-nature awaiting its time to shine.
4. The Buddha Lamp Fire: The Tathāgata Buddha
The Buddha Lamp Fire is eternal, uncreated, and unwavering. Jiǎchén’s liberation and Yǐsì’s action both serve to uncover this flame.
When ignorance is broken and compassion is acted upon, the Covered Lamp Fire reveals its true nature, transforming into the Buddha Lamp Fire.
The Buddha Lamp Fire is not merely the light of individual awakening but the great illumination of the universal interconnectedness of all beings.
The Covered Lamp Fire and the Buddha Lamp Fire are not two, not separate—when the light shines, the path of awakening knows no bounds.
5. Heaven’s Child Laughs Aloud:
The dragon rises, the serpent dances—Covered Lamps transform into Buddha Lamps!
With delusions shattered and compassion embodied, this world is already ablaze with the brilliance of the Buddha Lamp Fire!
