天来小子内观，
乾卦浩渺，六爻生息；
八卦六宫，能量流转，
天地大化兮，气象无穷。
初九：潜龙勿用兮，
坤宫深藏大地之息。
隐忍不发，蕴藏乾元，
万物潜育于幽谷，静待时机。
九二：见龙在田兮，
坎宫清润水之能量流。
田野之上，龙影初显，
清明之气灌溉万物，启智开新。
九三：惕龙若厉兮，
震艮宫翻腾雷霆之势。
险峻难平，惕惕而行，
龙在狂风暴雨中试锋芒，未敢轻狂。
九四：跃龙在渊兮，
巽兑宫柔风回旋之力。
渊深无底，龙游其间，
风生水起，势若浮云，潜跃无痕。
九五：飞龙在天兮，
离宫烈焰万象之辉。
苍穹高远，龙光耀日，
火焰焚烧尘秽，真气破虚而升。
上九：亢龙有悔兮，
乾宫至高无上的孤绝。
纵横九天，傲极苍穹，
不知退藏之道，悔恨终生。
用九：群龙无首兮，
六爻六宫归于平衡。

Hexagram Poetry: Qian (乾)
Heaven’s child enters stillness,
Beholding the energy flow of Qian’s six lines.
The six palaces of the trigrams whirl,
The great transformation of heaven and earth unfolds, boundless and infinite.
First Line (Initial Nine):
The Hidden Dragon Lies Below,
Dwelling in the energy flow of the Palace of Earth (坤).
Unseen and untapped, latent potential lies within,
In the depths of the valley, all things await their time.
Second Line (Nine in the Second):
The Dragon Appears in the Field,
Emerging in the energy flow of the Palace of Water (坎).
On open plains, its shadow takes form,
Moistening the soil, awakening wisdom, birthing new beginnings.
Third Line (Nine in the Third):
The Dragon in Caution Faces Peril,
Turbulent in the Palace of Thunder and Mountain (震艮).
Rough terrains and roaring storms surround,
Yet through trials and watchful steps, strength sharpens.
Fourth Line (Nine in the Fourth):
The Dragon Leaps Within the Abyss,
Dancing in the energy flow of Wind and Lake (巽兑).
Deep and unmeasured, it moves with grace,
Gentle winds stir hidden waters, a quiet strength arises.
Fifth Line (Nine in the Fifth):
The Dragon Ascends to the Heavens,
Radiating brilliance in the Palace of Fire (离).
Majestic and alight, it soars through boundless skies,
Its flames purify and illuminate all that stands below.
Sixth Line (Nine in the Sixth):
The Proud Dragon Meets its Fall,
In the energy flow of the Palace of Heaven (乾).
Lofty and untamed, it towers above,
Yet failing to yield or retreat, regret clouds its flight.
The Use of Nine:
A Flock of Dragons Moves Together,
With no singular head to lead the flow.
In formless unity lies true strength,
Heaven and earth harmonize, yin and yang converge,
A boundless source of creation and endless renewal.
From Hidden Dragon to Proud Dragon,
The arc of Qian reflects the path of life,
An ever-turning wheel of ascent and descent,
The cosmos whispers:
"With heaven's motion ever vigorous,
A noble soul must press forward with resilience."
Beneath Qian’s six lines,
We glimpse the unyielding drive of life itself.
