散文诗《猴》
【0. 天来小子】
天来小子悟五行，
静听山风语不停。
鸡逐猴影穿尘世，
金木水火土中行。
【1. 泉水濯心】
甲猴携乙鸡，
清泉漫洗旧时光。
涤尽尘埃观明月，
千江水月一佛乘。
【2. 炽火守夜】
丙猴陪丁鸡，
守望山下夜未央。
火光摇曳慎独影，
佛灯长明意至诚。
【3. 驿路逢尘】
戊猴邀己鸡，
驿站尘飞步未停。
世事茫茫多聚散，
常住真心净土存。
【4. 石榴繁华】
庚猴为辛鸡，
庭前种下石榴木。
红珠满树秋风里，
无上佛果万里香。
【5. 剑舞流金】
壬猴共癸鸡，
双剑合璧剑锋金。
独孤求败惊岁月，
活在当下笑江湖。
——五猴五鸡，同心行道；
纳音五行，头头是道。
Prose Poem: "The Monkey"
【0. The Young Seeker】
The young seeker understands the Five Phases,
Listening in silence to the unbroken wind.
The rooster chases the monkey's shadow through the world,
Moving through metal, wood, fire, earth, and water.
【1. Cleansing in the Spring】
The Wood Monkey walks with the Wood Rooster,
The clear spring water washing away the old times.
Purging the dust, they gaze at the bright moon,
A thousand rivers reflect the moon, one Buddha rides.
【2. The Flame Watching the Night】
The Fire Monkey accompanies the Fire Rooster,
Guarding the mountain as the night stretches on.
The firelight flickers, casting the shadow of solitude,
The Buddha's light burns ever bright, with pure sincerity.
【3. Dust on the Road to the Inn】
The Earth Monkey invites the Earth Rooster,
The inn dust flies as their steps do not rest.
The world is vast, full of unions and separations,
But in the heart, the true land of purity remains.
【4. The Blossoming Pomegranate】
The Metal Monkey works for the Metal Rooster,
Planting a pomegranate tree before the home.
Red jewels fill the branches in the autumn wind,
The supreme fruit of Buddha’s fragrance spreads for miles.
【5. The Sword Dance of Gold】
The Water Monkey and the Water Rooster join,
Their swords clash together, sharp as gold.
The lone warrior seeks no defeat, startling the years,
Living in the present moment, laughing in the rivers and lakes.
— Five monkeys, five roosters, united in the path;
Through the Five Phases, each step is true.
