Great Wisdom, Great Compassion, Great Strength
Five Movements, Ten Heavenly Stems, Five Divine Beasts—The Mark of Great Wisdom.
From the birth of Heaven and Earth, the Five Movements flow—
Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, ceaselessly transforming.
The Ten Heavenly Stems trace the celestial script,
Drawing the blueprint of all existence, balancing yin and yang.
The Azure Dragon rides the clouds, the White Tiger tears through the wind,
The Vermilion Bird burns the skies, the Black Tortoise guards the abyss, the Hooked Serpent anchors the earth.
The Five Divine Beasts stand their ground, ensuring cosmic equilibrium.
One of great wisdom does not defy the flow of time, nor resist the land’s decree,
But observes the celestial signs, aligns with the Five Phases,
And shapes all things with a single thought.
Six Qi, Twelve Zodiac Signs, The Opening and Closing of Yin and Yang—The Gate of Great Compassion.
The Six Qi turn, seasons shift, cold and warmth cycle endlessly.
Twelve beings take their stations, each bearing the will of Heaven—
Some fierce as the Tiger, some gentle as the Rabbit, some soaring as the Dragon, some slithering as the Snake.
When the pivot opens, all moves; when the pivot closes, all rests—
Life and death intertwine, suffering and joy are but shadows of each other.
The path of yin and yang breathes life into all, unceasing and boundless.
One of great compassion does not mourn their own suffering, but grieves for all sentient beings lost in illusion.
Wishing to liberate the countless souls from suffering,
They see the impermanence of the world, yet their heart remains unmoved;
They witness the rise and fall of life, yet their way stands eternal.
Five Movements, Six Qi, Sixty Jiazi, Thirty Fate Patterns—The Strength of the Great Hero.
Heaven moves, Earth breathes, the Sixty Jiazi cycle without end.
Thirty Fate Patterns ebb and flow like tides—some rise, some sink, yet all follow a rhythm.
To know fate is not to fear it, but to grasp the celestial pivot,
To transcend the prison of time,
To move with the current yet stand firm in the storm,
Unbound by numbers, unattached to illusions.
One of great strength does not conquer through brute force,
But through wisdom, through vows, through the laws of the cosmos.
Bearing the will of mountains, holding an unshakable heart,
They vow to walk through the great thousandfold world without retreat.
Great Wisdom sees the flow of Heaven, the patterns of Earth, and the foundation of human destiny.
Great Compassion understands yin and yang, transcends life and death, and guides beings beyond suffering.
Great Strength surpasses fate, shatters ignorance, and shoulders the burden of the universe.
Tianlai gazes above and below, then proclaims:
“With wisdom, compassion, and strength—only then can one walk the Great Way!”
