The five learning spaces for lifelong learning and growth

0. The five learning spaces for both teachers' professional learning and students' transformative learning.

1. In the cave (monologue): Self-directed learning, monitoring and assessment. Mode: 1 to 0. 0 is the mirror for us to reflect deeply. The only thing I know is nothing and I am nobody. Care deeply and assume the learning ownership and pay respect to the King/Queen of your own learning in your heart.

2. Mountain tops (monologue, may or may not followed with dialogue): Raising yourself up to the top of your mind while calming yourself down to the bottom of your heart and you are ready to share with the world what you have explored and discovered. Mode: 1 to many. Presentation. It's just like a performance. You need to rehearse for many time before you go up stage to put up the performance to impress your audience.

3. Camp Fire (Conversation): After exploring and discovering so much in the jungle of life, let's sit around the camp fire and share our stories. Mode: group discussion. You need to prepare yourself well to value-add to groupmates' views and offer your insights, if any.

4. Coffee house (Dialogue) : Besids the modes of solitude and group, let's make time for our BFFs and engage them individually. Mode of learning: 1 to 1. Buddy. Deep and quality communication is only possible through one-to-one and heart-to-heart dialogue.

5. In the Lab (dirty the hands): Walk your talk. Prototype. Experiments. See, USA is a lab for democracy political system and China is a lab for communism political system. And, many schools in China are named as experimental schools. Mode of learning: Practice. Creator. Maker.
