Uniqueness and Oneness

**Only recognizing uniqueness without understanding the oneness beyond duality** creates a bottleneck in spiritual practice. This bottleneck arises when one becomes aware of their individuality but fails to grasp the deeper truth of **non-duality**, the oneness that connects all beings and the universe.

In practice, if a person is stuck in the mindset of being **one of a kind** without realizing the underlying **oneness** with everything else, they fall into the trap of "knowing only one, but not the other." The "one" refers to their individual uniqueness and personal consciousness, while the "other" refers to the interconnectedness and fundamental equality of all things. This narrow focus on the self prevents them from transcending to higher levels of awakening.

True spiritual practice requires not only an understanding of one’s unique value but also an awakening to the truth of **non-duality**—the realization that all beings and the universe are fundamentally the same. Without this understanding, progress remains limited, and one is unable to break through the bottleneck of "knowing only one but not the other." To achieve deeper wisdom, one must integrate both their individuality and the universal truth of oneness, moving toward a state of harmony and unobstructed insight.
