1. solution-oriented communication and collaboration: this is a very important reminder to all of us that whenever there is conflicts, we have to ask ourselves immediately these 3 ultimate questions: what do I want ultimately? what should I say ultimately? what can I do ultimately? Then, we realize that the only answer to all three questions is: solution!
2. solution-oriented communication: Seek first to understand then to be understood. Yes, it is the Habit 5 from Stephen R Covey. We have to listen with our hearts and see with our minds to fully understand the person who has conflict with us first. That is we have to let that person to say what he or she want to say first. Through observation of his or her body language, we see where he or she comes from as well. Then, it is our turn to say what we want and should say with both wisdom and love, so as to create a brave space for both ourselves and that person.
3. solution-oriented collaboration: this is the follow-through after the communication. We need to help ourselves and that person to learn and grow by practising to kick out our bad habits in daily life. This process of walking our talk is of utmost importance as it can usher us into the kingdom of human soul, which is a space of ultimate dimension.
