Interpretation
In the triad of you-me- s(he), the Threefold Contemplation of One Mind reveals the wisdom of awakening through three perspectives:
• Emptiness Contemplation: From the Buddha’s perspective (me), one sees through all illusions and directly perceives the essence of existence.
• Provisional Contemplation: From the perspective of sentient beings (s(he)), one acknowledges the interdependent arising and the value of life.
• Middle Way Contemplation: From the perspective of the Bodhisattva (you), one harmonizes emptiness and provisional existence, embodying compassion and wisdom.
In the realm of people, actions, and things, the Threefold Truths illustrate the path to a complete life:
• Truth of Emptiness: Seeing impermanence and ultimate reality within the essence of things (the intrinsic nature of objects).
• Truth of Provisionality: Manifesting boundless love through selfless acts that bring joy to others.
• Truth of the Middle Way: Realizing one’s unique path as an awakened being, uniting the truths into a singular, enlightened existence.
This integration becomes a beautiful poem and grand painting, manifesting in the present moment, showcasing the wave-particle duality of life’s elegance and vastness.
Verse
Buddha’s gaze in emptiness, sentient hearts in illusion,
Bodhisattvas walk the middle way, bridging all divisions.
Emptiness holds the essence, actions bring the good,
Awakening to one’s true path, harmonizing as one should.
Wave and particle intertwine, now a poem, now a scene,
Life unfolds in unity, ever vibrant, ever serene.
