散文诗《诚》

天来小子内观：

诚字之一体，阿弥陀佛（自性弥陀）

乃居中之无上菩提——佛陀也。

其左右结构，

正是解行不二之左右胁侍菩萨也。

左边“言”，势至菩萨（唯心大智）

是说而无说、无说而说之解门菩萨，

以无声之言启示心灵，

以无为之道点化众生。

右边“成”，观音菩萨（唯心大悲）

是成己成人、成就世界之行门菩萨，

以行动圆满自身，

以德行承载天地。

啊！这个“诚”字，西方三圣之三位一体 （理性-感性-心灵之三位一体），

岂止是笔画之间，

它是活生生的法门，今生今世的美妙人生，

是智慧与慈悲之最终归途之落实于此身之你有我有全都有！

Prose Poem: "Sincerity"

From the heavens I descend, gazing within:

The essence of the word "Sincerity" is none other than Amitabha Buddha (the self-natured Amitabha),
The supreme Bodhi at the center—the awakened Buddha.
Its left and right structure,
Represents the non-duality of realization and practice, embodied by the Bodhisattvas at the Buddha’s sides.

On the left, the radical "Word" (言), signifies Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva (the great wisdom of reason),
A Bodhisattva of realization, who speaks without speaking, and speaks through silence.
Through words unspoken, the soul is awakened;
Through the way of non-action, all beings are enlightened.

On the right, the radical "Accomplishment" (成), signifies Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva (the great compassion of emotion),
A Bodhisattva of practice, who fulfills oneself by fulfilling others, and perfects the world through action.
Through deeds, one attains self-realization;
Through virtue, one sustains the heavens and the earth.

Ah! This character "Sincerity", the trinity of the Western Pure Land Saints (the trinity of Reason, Emotion, and Spirit),
Is far more than mere strokes on a page.
It is a living Dharma door, a radiant path in this very life,
The ultimate convergence of wisdom and compassion,
Embodied here and now, in you, in me, and in all of us!
